- I am a first generation American, the daughter of a Holocaust concentration camp survivor and a survivor who spent the bulk of WWII in Russia. My mother emigrated to Israel in 1948 and my parents met and married in Israel in 1956. I am a believer in American exceptionalism and the greatness of this amazing country. I am also an ardent Zionist. My goal in this blog, is to educate. From time to time, I will insert links to articles that are on the topic of my post. I caution readers however, not to believe everything that I say, but to use the amazing technology that is at their fingertips and research, read, digest. We live in an amazing age where original sources, such as old newspapers,are available on the internet. Use these sources wisely.

It is troubling that there are so few truly moderate Muslims. Any change to Islam needs to come from within, and it will probably never happen, since the truly moderate ones will have their lives threatened by those who are 'radical' and those who are supposedly moderate. I fear for the future of our world and for our future generations. I fear that we are doomed.
